Dr. J. Robert Heinzman Bio 

Dr. J. Robert Heinzman is widely recognized as a distinguished educator and entrepreneur with an extensive background in teaching, consulting, and leadership spanning engineering, project management, and business domains. In 2016, he founded the Independent Association of Business Scholars (IABS) Journal to address publishing challenges and enhance knowledge dissemination across diverse fields. Transitioning IABS Journal into IABS Publishing Corp in 2023, a non-profit organization, Dr. Heinzman expanded its scope to encompass journals in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Healthcare.

Dr. Heinzman’s academic journey includes earning an MBA/TM in 2003 and subsequently serving as an adjunct professor for eight years, combining teaching with consulting roles focused on engineering, project management, and leadership. His pursuit of a Doctor of Management degree in 2011 highlighted barriers hindering innovative knowledge dissemination among professionals and academics with limited access to resources leading to the creation of IABS.

Actively engaged in various professional associations and initiatives, Dr. Heinzman has served as Editor-In-Chief of the IABS Journal and held leadership roles in organizations such as SCORE, Save Cambodia Strategic board member, and Coaching and Peer Reviewer with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). His achievements encompass certifications in Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, financial services, and aerospace engineering underscoring his commitment to academic excellence and practical application in business and technology sectors.

Dr. Robert Heinzman’s accomplishments include extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and business management across both public and private sectors. Renowned as a strategic visionary, Dr. Heinzman excels in forecasting future landscapes through rigorous analysis. His expertise encompasses team building and fostering positive work environments, utilizing continuous improvement and leadership methodologies to drive process innovation, enhance workflows, and facilitate seamless inter-facility integrations. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Heinzman has demonstrated prowess in leading transformative change initiatives and implementing impactful programs.

Academically, Dr. Heinzman has held pivotal roles as a Senior Instructor and Team Lead at Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT, influencing the education of graduate and undergraduate students in disciplines such as Project Management and Strategic Management. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Technical University in Boulder, CO, Stevens Henager College in Logan, UT, and the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ, imparting foundational business management principles.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Heinzman has accumulated practical experience through consulting roles at HTI Training & Consulting, specializing in manufacturing engineering, Lean Six Sigma, and project management. His industry contributions include notable leadership positions at Boeing Aircraft Company and Vought Aircraft Company, where he spearheaded critical manufacturing engineering and configuration management efforts for the 787 program, achieving substantial enhancements in operational efficiency and process quality.

Dr. Heinzman’s dedication to advancing organizational capabilities is further underscored by his military service as a veteran of the United States Army. He earned his Doctor of Management in Organizational Development & Change from Colorado Technical University, solidifying his commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.
