The IABS STEM Journal is pleased to announce a special issue dedicated to exploring the dynamic and evolving field of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. As STEM education continues to grow and adapt to a globalized world, there is an increasing need to deepen our understanding of how these programs function and their impact on various educational outcomes. This issue aims to highlight new advancements, empirical studies, and theoretical frameworks that contribute to the field.  

We invite submissions that offer novel insights, comprehensive analyses, and practical perspectives on diverse aspects of STEM education. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:  

 – **Thematic Content Analysis:** Reviews and meta-analyses addressing key issues in STEM education, such as the impact of teacher education initiatives on student learning outcomes.  

  – **Integrated STEM and STEAM Frameworks:** Theoretical and practical frameworks supporting integrated STEM and STEAM education approaches.  

 – **Empirical Studies:** Research investigating the effects of STEM education on academic achievement, student engagement, and affective factors.  

 – **STEM Teacher Education Programs:** Studies on the design, implementation, and outcomes of STEM teacher training programs.  

 – **STEM Education During the Pandemic:** Insights into how STEM education adapted and evolved in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including remote and digital learning experiences.  

 – **International Perspectives and Trends:** Comparative studies and international trends in STEM education practices and policies.  

 – **STEM Curriculum Development:** Research on the development, implementation, and effectiveness of STEM curricula.  

 – **STEM Schools:** Studies focusing on the operational and educational outcomes of schools dedicated specifically to STEM education.  

 – **Remote Learning and Digital Experiences:** Evaluations of STEM education in virtual environments and the impact of digital tools and platforms on learning experiences.
